About Von Lordon Haus German Shepherds
We are located in New Mexico, in the Paradise Hills area. We are NOT a kennel establishment, we are a licensed private and reputable breeder, breeding a few litters a year. We have bred German Shepherds on and off since 1997. We have sold our puppies through the years for many different situations and to a diverse clientele for various reasons which include protection, service or competition work, and also the beloved family pet. Our clientele has included but is not limited to Police, Border Patrol Officers, Schutzhund handlers, various Service Dog and Therapy Dog handlers, Business Owners and Families.
Our dogs are family, they are raised and live in the home as part of the family and for our own personal protection. Our dogs come from incredibly powerful German Import Working Lines, known for excellent temperaments and their natural protection and working ability. They are intelligent, social, loving, loyal, and most of all great with children. We breed for those exact same traits in our puppies, which make them very adaptable for any environment. We have taken great care in choosing our dogs for their working lineage from Top Level Competition Dogs.
After working in the veterinary field for 30 years, we know how important it is to breed pups free from as many genetic and hereditary problems as reasonably possible. All our dogs have been screened for Hip/Elbow Dysplasia and also for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), and are not at risk for these problems. We also DNA test for further proof of lineage so there aren't any questions about the pedigree of your puppy. Our dogs are within breed standard and we keep all our dogs current on vaccinations, deworming, and heartworm preventative.
